uth's Buka brings the bold, soulful flavors of Nigeria to East Oakland, and it's the kind of warm, family-run spot that quickly feels like home. What began in a home garage and grew through Bay Area catering is now a beloved restaurant where everything is seasoned with spices brought from back home. Come for smoky jollof rice, rich egusi soup with fufu, spicy suya, efo riro, oxtail, and puff puff for dessert, with plenty of vegetarian options too.
