Presented by Visit Oakland, Oakland Style is a citywide celebration of the art, music, fashion, cuisine, and culture that make Oakland one of a kind. The 2026 edition runs Tuesday, October 7 through Sunday, October 11, with events hosted by Oakland businesses in every corner of the city — pop-ups with artists, designers, and chefs; live music and DJ sets; workshops and interactive experiences; special menus, happy hours, and dine-arounds with neighboring restaurants. Recent editions have featured around 30 events citywide, from runway shows and the Art Clash mural competition to a mixology competition, High Tea + High Style, the Cuisine + Couture tasting, sneaker-art labs, art walks, and a block party.

Heads Up: It Overlaps Fleet Week
Oakland Style 2026 falls inside San Francisco Fleet Week, which runs October 4–12 and draws crowds across the whole Bay Area. Two major events in one week means rooms on both sides of the bay fill early — if you're planning to be here, book sooner rather than later.

Start your day with or without carbs! We have a wonderful continental breakfast that includes individually packaged muffins and granola bars as well as hot breakfast sandwiches.

Our superfast WiFi impresses even meeting planners! We’ve had many virtual meetings held at the hotel and the connection speed impresses all. Most say “Whoa whoa whoa” but our nerdy tech staff have clocked it at 507 MB to download and 410 MB to upload, varies with devices.
Parking
Our parking is a great deal of only $17 per day* for standard size vehicles. If you have a bus full of people or require more than 1 parking space, we have plenty of free street parking right in front of the hotel.

A point really appreciated by people such as we, plucked from our beds at an earlier than usual hour! And we must make special note of the shuttle service. That is really a great feature. We were able to go where and almost to the minute, when we wanted. It eliminated the need to rent a car and promptly get lost (it has happened!)
Your staff was also efficient and friendly and that certainly is important for tourists. Then there was the friendly personal attention you gave us, we certainly felt like honored guest!
