Located just 15 minutes from Downtown Oakland, getting to this Skyline Blvd. hiking trail is a breeze. Once you've arrived, you'll notice convenient & spacious parking, as well as a bathroom facility if you need it before or after the hike. Don't forget to fill up your water bottles before heading out.
The Chabot Space and Science Center, located in the Oakland Hills, is a hands-on center featuring interactive exhibits, a digital planetarium, a large screen theater, hands-on activities & three powerful telescopes. Chabot is surrounded by redwood forestry aptly named Redwood Regional Park.
Redwood Regional Park is just a few miles from downtown Oakland. With nearly 40 miles of trails to hike, jog or bike; nature lovers and non-lovers alike cannot help but appreciate the beauty of this Oakland forest.
