We have to start with this Oakland landmark on Piedmont Avenue. It’s a family owned retro soda fountain style restaurant. It genuinely is world famous, as it’s been featured on the Food Network, the Travel Channel, and the History Channel! Have you seen the Pixar movie Up? Carl and Russell couldn’t pass up a summer treat at Fentons! Get one of their house made signature sundaes! Try the Black and Tan sundae.
