Definitely the best of its type in Oakland! We arrived late and tired and found the night staff genuinley interested in helping us get to our rooms quickly. Hotel is very clean and tidy, the rooms are a good size - go for the water side, it is worth the extra and although there are not many trains - you won't here them. Although the view is not spectacular, to have a balcony to sit on over the water is nice. Breakfast was reasonable variety and fresh. Easy to find and on and off the I-state. Would go again.
